Archon: The Light and Dark is a strategy and action-adventure game released for the Nintendo NES console in 1989 by EA. Set in a fantasy world of light and dark, players compete in a game similar to chess. The player battles on a board of alternating black and white squares, but instead of fixed rules for landing on another player's space,a battle will ensue to determine who wins. Different piece's have different combat abilities. With a mix of strategy and action, the game offers an engaging experience for players looking for a challenging and immersive gaming experience.
